Take action and fundraise for the animals at Bath Cats and Dogs Home with your own event or collection. We rely on your enthusiasm and support to fund the care and rehoming of the hundreds of dogs and cats that come to us every year with no other place to go.

Celebration fundraising
Birthdays, anniversaries and pet gotcha days
You could fundraise in celebration of your birthday, your pet's adoption anniversary or other special day. Online use your social media or set up a Just Giving page (see our Social fundraising link below for more details on those). In person, you could hold a coffee morning or tea break with friends or colleagues and ask them to make a small donation towards their cuppa and cake.
Weddings
Ask friends and family to make a donation to Bath Cats & Dogs Home in place of buying a gift, or add a giving box to the tables. One lovely couple even had our adoptable animals' details on their favours! Contact us if you are planning your big day with us in mind.

Schools fundraising
Raise awareness about pet care and inspire the next generation in animal welfare. We can arrange to give a talk at your school, or we can provide information for you to share in lessons or assemblies.
To raise vital funds for abandoned and neglected animals your school can hold bake sales, make donations towards a non uniform day or organise a fête or activities. Please do contact us to share your own ideas and we will be delighted to support.

Workplace fundraising
Onesie days, bake sales, Charity Shop donation drives, or adding a collection can in reception – it can make a big difference when you work as a team. For ways that your company, group or organisation can get involved please see our Partnerships section (link below).
Community groups
We have some busy and passionate fundraising groups working hard to raise funds for us in Bath, Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon. They organise events and activities to raise awareness and funds for us all year rounds.

Talks

How to pay in your fundraising and donations
Online Use the donation page and explain it is your fundraising money when prompted.
Post Please make cheques payable to ‘Bath Cats & Dogs Home’ and enclose a paying in form with your cheque, addressed to Bath Cats & Dogs Home, The Avenue, Claverton Down, Bath BA2 7AZ.
Bank transfer Please call our Fundraising office on 01225 787334, email fundraising@bcdh.org.uk or pop in to speak to us at the Home between 9-5 any weekday to arrange the bank transfer details.
